On Saturday, January 11 at 8pm and Sunday, Jan 12 at 2pm, the Performance Lab students of the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education will present 12 Angry Jurors.

A trial is held and a jury must decide whether a young man is guilty or innocent of a brutal crime. This critical decision will determine life for the young man...or death.

By all appearances, it seems that "he doesn't stand a chance." The evidence includes eyewitness testimony that does not stand in the defendant's favor. As simple conversations in the jury room turn into heated arguments, the jurors' personal backgrounds, beliefs, prejudices and fears become clear. Their anger, indifference and biases cause them to skew reality: that they ultimately hold a boy's life in their hands. The jurors' finAl Verdict and how they reach it - in electrifying, climactic scenes - will keep audiences questioning their own beliefs long after the trial has ended.

The performance will be in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre. Tickets are $12.50 and can be purchased by calling the Warner box office at 860-489-7180 or online at www.warnertheatre.org.
