Pantochino Productions Inc. will open its new holiday musical, "Glitz! The Little Miss Christmas Pageant Musical" on December 7th for eight performances at the Milford Center for the Arts on Railroad Avenue in Milford, Connecticut.

The original holiday musical with book and lyrics by Bert Bernardi and music by Justin Rugg is a wildly funny spoof of glitz pageants. .Swirling in delicious controversy, the host, Shayde Shames, is at the center of tinsels, tiaras, little girls with big hair and outlandish moms with big dreams and big mouths. Add a touch of Dickens to this modern tale and a new holiday classic story is born.

"The show is an unexpected mash up of Toddlers and Tiaras and A Christmas Carol," said Bernardi. "It's a smart, funny and heartwarming holiday show for the entire family to enjoy," he added.

"Glitz! The Little Miss Christmas Pageant Musical" features Pantochino's largest cast to date. Jimmy Johansmeyer plays Shams, with Rugg as musician Buddy Panache. The five mothers include Dale Allen as Helen Hailey, Shelley Marsh Poggio as Mugsy Loren, Mary Mannix as Olivia Westinghouse Winerack III, Jennifer Smith as Marybeth McCutcheon and Katie Durham as Cheryl Spangles. The five girls are played by Dani Corrigan, Cassie Gerace, Elise Sullivan, Peyton Iott and Kylie Poggio. Also in the company are Stavros Koumbaros, Jessica Intelisano, Thea Ryan, Emma Fuchs, Delia Eisenmen, Olivia Foley and Claire Koppy.
