On Wednesday, August 27th, shoppers at Whole Foods Market in Milford will help support Connecticut's 'Ridiculously Entertaining,' award-winning theatre for children and their families. Five percent of every purchase will go directly to support the programs and mission of Pantochino Productions, Inc. - a professional non-profit theatre company offering original musicals, classes and camps in Milford.

While Whole Foods Market customers are stocking up on all natural groceries, local and organic produce and more, they will also be helping support the feisty theatre company's original musical productions for kids and families, their Teen Theatre program, as well as their educational programs in schools, camps and classes, all taking place in the Downtown Milford area.

"We're so excited with this partnership with Whole Foods Market," said co-producer Bert Bernardi. "We're hoping all of our supporters, friends and the hundreds and hundreds of families we have touched shop Whole Foods Market - Milford on our special Pantochino Day- - It's a winning situation all around," he added. "Our lovable, life-sized mascot, Pantochino Monkey, will be on hand throughout the day to greet shoppers, pose for photographs and make this a special day for kids of all ages," said Jimmy Johansmeyer, the company's other co-producer.

Five Percent Days are part of Whole Foods Market's commitment to support environmental and educational causes in their community. Four times per year, each store identifies local organizations that align with Whole Foods Market's commitment, and that make a real community impact. Often, these days raise $2500 or more for participating organizations.

At Pantochino Productions, Inc, all funds raised through this 5% day will go directly to the myriad of expenses associated with theatrical productions. Set, props and costume materials, sound and lighting equipment for its original musicals and Teen Theatre productions costs will be offset by the funds earned on this special day.

Pantochino Productions, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization entering it's fourth season of 100% original musical productions for young audience and their families. The mission of Pantochino is to entertain, engage and enlighten young audiences and their families with affordable entertainment, and provide positive, nurturing training to young actors.

The company's programs include it's vastly popular Summer Theatre Camps at Milford Arts Council, After-School Drama Clubs in schools throughout Southern Connecticut, a Teen Theatre program for actors 13 to 18 years old, Acting-Voice-Dance classes at it's studio space in the former St. Ann School in Milford, and it's exciting series of original, professional musical theatre in Downtown Milford.
