Palace Theater Helps Stock the Pantry

The Palace Theater is once again helping the United Way of Greater Waterbury's Stock the Pantry campaign by offering the public a chance to win a pair of tickets, to the opening night performance of Cameron Macintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Weber's The Phantom of the Opera, when it visits Waterbury this November 15 - 26, as an incentive.

The theater is accepting donations of rice and beans (or any other non-perishable food items) at the Box Office lobby weekdays from 10:00 am - 5:00pm. Anyone who contributes now through June 19th is eligible to fill out an entry blank to be entered in to the drawing for a pair of Phantom tickets valued at $126. The Palace's primary purpose is to revitalize the Greater Waterbury community through the presentation of the performing arts and educational initiatives in collaboration with area cultural and educational institutions. Its mission is to preserve and operate the historic Palace Theater as a performing arts center and community gathering place that provides a focal point of cultural activity and educational outreach for diverse audiences.
