Opera House Players' Summer Youth Theater presents BUGSY MALONE, JR. on Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27 at 7 pm at the Broad Brook Opera House, 107 Main Street, Broad Brook, CT 06016. All tickets are $10 (non-reserved seating) and can be ordered by calling the box office at 860-292-6068 or purchasing tickets at the door on the nights of the performance. BUGSY MALONE, JR. is suitable for all ages and families are invited to introduce live theater to their children.

A cast of youngsters play all the parts in this tongue-in-cheek tribute to the 1920s gangster flick Originally written for children, Bugsy Malone, Junior is a wonderful showcase for talented young performers, with a catchy, swinging score by Paul Williams, the composer of The Muppet Movie. It's also an entertaining way to explore Prohibition and the Roaring Twenties.

The Opera House Players' 2013-2014 season begins in September with Sondheim's COMPANY, followed by FOOTLOOSE (November), CABARET (February, 2014) and LES MISERABLES (May, 2014). Information on these performances and other upcoming events can be found at www.operahouseplayers.org.
