The Northeast Children's Theatre Company (NCTC), a professional not-for-profit theatre company for young audiences & families, continues its second season in residence at the Fairfield Theatre Company with "A Year With Frog And Toad," the wildly popular Broadway musical based on Arnold Lobel's books of the same name. The production is directed by Morgan Weitz and features music, lyrics, and book by Robert Reale and Willie Reale. "A Year With Frog And Toad" features Jimmy McDonald as Toad, Eric Williams as Frog, Daniel Tepper, Angela Jeffries, and Olivia Howell.

Arnold Lobel's well-loved characters hop from the page to the stage in this Tony-nominated musical. Our whimsical and fantastical story follows two amphibious friends - the cheerful Frog and grumpy Toad - and their unlikely friendship through a year of seasonal changes in the swamp; from taking a dip in the cool pond water on a hot summer day to gathering by the warm fire on a chilly winter night. This musical comedy teaches an important lesson about friendship and is perfect for children of all ages.

"A Year With Frog And Toad" runs as a limited two-week engagement from Saturday, January 25 through Sunday, February 2 at Fairfield Theatre Company's StageOne theater in downtown Fairfield. Tickets can be purchased by calling 203-259-1036 or visiting www.NCTCompany.org.
