Michael McGrath and John Scherer will star in the Goodspeed Opera House production of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." The show will be presented September 25th through November 9th at Goodspeed.

A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum features Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, and will be Directed and Choreographed by Ted Pappas. Michael McGrath (Broadway's "Spamalot," "Is He Dead?") will star as Pseudolus in the production.

Forum will be presented by same creative team that brought Goodspeed's On the Twentieth Century and Promises, Promises.

Screamingly funny! Downright hilarious! Comedy reigns when a thoroughly disarming slave named Pseudolus schemes to gain his freedom by helping his master's son get the girl he desires. It's an accelerating whirl of mixed identities, swinging doors, double takes, double entendres, outrageous puns and gags that will keep you laughing all the way home. Winner of tons of Tony Awards including Best Musical.
