Leslie Gauthier, Wesley Zurick & More to Star in Playhouse on Park's TRESTLE AT POPE LICK CREEK, 5/15-18

Playhouse on Park has announced the cast for it's final Playhouse on the Edge production of the season, The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek by Naomi Wallace. The story takes place in a small town during the Great Depression, where two teenagers plan to race against a train that runs over a dried-up creek.

Leading the cast as the two teenagers are Leslie Gauthier as Pace and Wesley Zurick as Dalton. A West Hartford native, Ms. Gauthier's past credits include The Turn of the Screw at Lincoln Center and The Big Exit at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Mr. Zurick has performed at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, and the Strawberry Theatre Festival, where he was named Best Director. Also in the cast are Richard Brundage as Dray (NYC: Uncle Vanya, Twelfth Night), Melody Gray as Gin (TheaterPlots: The Cherry Orchard, The New School: The Trojan Women), and Rick Malone as Chas (Hartford Stage: Our Town, John W. Engeman Theater: South Pacific). Directing the production is Dawn Loveland, the Director of Education at Playhouse on Park.

The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek runs May 15th through May 18th. This production is recommended for audiences 16 and up due to mature content. For more information about times and tickets, visit www.playhouseonpark.org, or call 860-523-5900 x10.
