On Sunday, February 20, Goodspeed Musicals will hold its annual Theatre Treasures Tag Sale in the lobby of The Norma Terris Theatre. Doors open 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. The Norma Terris Theatre is located at 33 North Main St, Chester, Connecticut.

The Theatre Treasures Tag Sale will live up to its name with a wide variety of one-of-a-kind items for sale, including decorative theatrical pieces from many of Goodspeed Musicals' past productions. This year's tag sale will feature unique props, original set pieces and signs, furniture, books, china and other whimsical and wonderful specialty items, each with its own inimitable history.

If you're looking for something truly special be sure to check out some of the distinctive collectables and vintage pieces that have been featured on Goodspeed's stage throughout the years including funky 60's style chairs from How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, gorgeous hand painted side-show posters and a large puppet theatre from Carnival!, dressing screens, desks and so much more! Personal checks, cash and credit cards will be accepted, making it easy for you to buy your own piece of theatrical history. Proceeds go to support Goodspeed Musicals' Education Program.

This year, the Theatre Treasures Tag Sale takes place at the same time as the Chester Winter Carnivale. The 2011 Chester Winter Carnivale will feature an Ice Carving Competition, Tractor Parade, Chilly Chili Cook Off, concessions, and all kinds of family friendly entertainment. Area businesses will also host their own events and several art exhibits are expected to make their debut.
