Defending the Caveman is the longest running solo play in Broadway history, and now the celebrated worldwide success will be at the historic Warner Theatre in Torrington on Saturday, March 5 at 8 pm.

Defending the Caveman is a hilariously insightful play about the ways men and women relate that has both sexes roaring with laughter and affectionately nudging each other as they recognize themselves in the stories being told on stage. Its "outrageously funny and surprisingly sweet exploration of the gender gap" (Chicago Sun Times) has made Caveman "a comic phenomenon" (New York Times).

The wildly popular comedy was written by writer/comedian Rob Becker over a three year period during which he made an informal study of prehistory, psychology and sociology. Originally opening in San Francisco in 1991 and on Broadway in 1995, Caveman has been translated into 20 languages and performed in more than 49 countries to date.

Defending the Caveman makes us laugh at ourselves about all the ways men and women fight, laugh and love. That's why couples all across America and around the world are in love with Defending the Caveman.
