As part of its Spring Puppet Performance Series, the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut will present Squirrel Stole My Underpants by the celebrated Boston dance, puppet, and acrobatic company They Gotta Be Secret Agents on Saturday, March 14, 2015. There will be two showings, at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., in the Ballard Institute Theater located at 1 Royce Circle in Storrs Center.

In this poignantly silly adventure tale, Sylvie is sent to the backyard to hang up the laundry. The moment her back is turned, a mischievous squirrel steals her favorite piece of clothing and runs off. When Sylvie gives chase, an entire world emerges from her laundry basket, and curious characters show her the way through mysterious lands. Will our lonely heroine rescue her underpants and discover the magic within herself? Join us on this adventure to find out!

Ticket costs: Adults: $10; Students: $7; Kids: $5.
