In lieu of his latest album, Stages, Josh Groban lured his fans in with sing-a-long musical performances on Friday night at Mohegan Sun..

Opening for Groban was Irish singer-songwriter Foy Vance, showing off his talents - and incredibly unique raspy voice - singing "Burden" from his latest album, The Wild Swan, and closing out with Prince's "Purple Rain."

As for Groban himself, there was plenty of well-known songs from musicals he enjoyed as a kid, including "Try to Remember" from the 1960 Broadway classic, The Fantasticks.

Other songs included "Bridge Over Troubled Waters," "Canto Allla Vita," and "Run," a cover ballad from the the rock band, Snow Patrol.

There's no denying Groban's many talents. Not only does he sing in different languages - Italian, Spanish, and French - but he plays a few instruments, too, including the piano and drums. Not too shabby for the 35 year-old.

During the show, we also got a glimpse into his Broadway debut for Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, coming this fall. Groban gave the audience a taste with his song, "Dust and Ashes," which put the Mohegan Sun's own orchestra to good use.

Of course the night wouldn't be complete without him singing, "You Raise Me Up," which he did at the end to close out the show - or so we thought.

After a plethora of chants from the audience, Groban came back out on stage to finish with one final tune, the Wizard of Oz's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
