Assistant - Food For Thought Productions

Food For Thought Productions, an award-winning theatre company (Gold Medal in Drama from the National Arts Club) and Cause Celebre, a not-for profit theatre company seeks an Assistant to the Artistic Director.



The Artistic Director Interns will report to the Artistic Director as well as the Resident Directors.





Responsibilities include:



- Helping to prepare high-profile celebrity shows for the upcoming season.



- Assisting the Directors on each of the shows.



- Working on the marketing of shows and helping with day-to-day operations.



- Manage social media accounts as well as websites and email on a regular basis.





REQUIREMENTS:



- BA Degree



- Strong computer skills



- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Publisher)



- A background in business and/or theatre management preferred



- Attention to detail



- Strong written and verbal skills



- Experience working with actors and directors preferred



- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
