Verdi’s suspenseful tale of star-crossed love and bitter vengeance has entranced audiences with some of the most memorable tunes in all of opera for over 150 years.

Our production is brought to life by an outstanding cast, including Stephen Powell, who brings his “rich, lyric baritone, commanding presence, and thoughtful musicianship” (Wall Street Journal) to the role of the Count di Luna. Tenor Russell Thomas’s “sizeable” voice (The New York Times) will enliven the role of Manrico. Leonora will be sung by soprano Julianna Di Giacomo, whose “bright, elegant tone,” was praised by The New York Times. Called “a fresh wonder of the opera world, possessing a voice of preternatural beauty and power” by Alex Ross (The Rest is Noise), mezzo-soprano Jamie Barton is Azucena. Ferrando is sung by the “sonorous” Morris Robinson (The New York Times).
