The Beijing Playhouse is beginning bi-weekly Drama Club Workshops on the first and third Thursday of every month from 6:30-8 p.m. Every workshop will involve learning and practicing skills related to theater with a skilled and of course very friendly instructor. You will meet other people with similar interests and have fun being creative while honing your skills and talents in a relaxed and sociable environment.  The club workshops are open to absolutely everyone, with only one prerequisite-you must have an interest in theater or drama!

Never acted before?  Give it a try!  We'll get together and do some acting lessons.  Beijing Playhouse, China's English Broadway Theatre, is always looking for experienced actors as well as undiscovered talent.  Aspiring actors can come to Beijing Playhouse and try their hand at acting and receive pointers from Beijing Playhouse crew.  Meet fellow actors.  Learn about volunteer crew positions for Beijing Playhouse shows. Instructors are directors from Beijing Playhouse and drama teachers from around the city.

If you have lots of experience or none at all, if you are a native speaker of English or still gaining confidence speaking English, if younger or older, all are more than welcome.

The workshops will take place at the Hot Cat club, in Feng Jia Hutong, a 15 minute walk from the Beixiqiao subway station.
