On Thursday, April 26th the Abbey Pub (3420 W. Grace) will host an All-Star jam called Full Court Press. This will be the second time this event will take place.

This isn't your normal "jam night". The five different bands will feature members from local favorites, Umphrey's McGee, Digital Tape Machine, Strange Arrangement, Math Games, Family Groove Company, Kick the Cat, The Coop, Groovatron, Old Shoe, and many more. The five mixed bands will be covering some familiar material while including some quality impromptu jams.

Doors are at 8:30 p.m., show at 9:30 p.m. You can watch this all go down for only $10 advance and $12 at the door. Tickets available online here.

Full Court Press 2 will feature members of Umphrey's McGee, Digital Tape Machine, Strange Arrangement, Family Groove Company, The Coop, Math Games, Kick the Cat, The Hue, Old Shoe, Land of Atlantis, Groovatron.

This All-Star Jam concept launched in February of 2012 and was an immediate hit. 15 people representing eight bands divided the night into 6 time slots. This innovative take on a local show originated from The Abbey Pub's new talent buyer, Dan Rucinski. The event is a rare chance to see some of your favorite artist from your favorite bands play with other artist from your other favorite bands.
