Strawdog Theatre Company and Artistic Director Hank Boland are proud to announce the final production in Strawdog's 2016 - 2017 season, The Night Season, May 11 - June 24, 2017. Strawdog's 29th season will be produced in its itinerant home at the new Factory Theatre in Rogers Park, 1621 W. Howard St. on the Chicago-Evanston border in the historic Howard Theatre building. The theatre space is a newly created 70 seat three-quarters thrust just two blocks from CTA's Howard Red Line terminal. The Strawdog Theatre 29th Season subscriptions are now on sale at Strawdog.org or call773.528.9696.

Strawdog Theatre's 2016 - 2017 three-show season includes:
Distance, August 25 - October 1, a world premiere by Jerre Dye, directed by Erica Weiss.
Cymbeline, January 12, 2017 - February 25, 2017 by William Shakespeare, directed by Rob Kauzlaric.
The Night Season, May 11, 2017 - June 24, 2017 by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Elly Green.

"Over the last several seasons Strawdog has pushed ourselves and our audiences into new artistic territory; now the time has come to explore new geographic territory. We are excited to have found a temporary home with The Factory Theatre. We are thrilled to be bringing our work to Howard Street. We're eager to share Distance and Cymbeline with our loyal audience members and think they will serve as great introduction pieces for new audiences," said Boland.
