Step Up Productions is pleased to conclude its 2015-16 season with Noël Coward's comedy of manners PRIVATE LIVES, directed by Ian Frank, playing April 8 - May 8, 2016 at The Athenaeum Theatre, 2936 N. Southport Ave. in Chicago. Tickets go on sale Monday, February 1, 2016 at www.stepupproductions.org or by calling The Athenaeum Box Office at (773) 935-6875. The press opening is Wednesday, April 13 at 8 pm.

PRIVATE LIVES will feature Elizabeth Antonucci, Anu Bhatt, Andrew Jessop, Miguel Nunez and Emily Tate.

Elyot and Amanda, once married and now honeymooning with new spouses at the same hotel, meet by chance, reignite the old spark and impulsively elope. After days of being reunited, they again find their fiery romance alternating between bouts of love and anger. When their peeved spouses reappear, chaos ensues and new partnerships and alliances are formed.

Partial proceeds from PRIVATE LIVES will benefit a partner charity (to be announced). As part of its mission, Step Up Productions donates a portion of proceeds from each production to organizations in and around Chicago.

The production team to date for PRIVATE LIVES includes: Greg Pinsoneault (scenic design), Raquel Adorno (costume design), Josh Wroblewski (lighting design), Jeffrey Levin (sound design), Adam Goldstein (dialect coach), Dorthea Walstrom (make-up design), Daniel Drake (stage manager), Sydney Rosenfeld (costume assistant) and Catherine Allen (production manager).
