Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre in association with Michael James presents Some Enchanted Evening: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein at the intimate, 60-seat cabaret setting of No Exit Café, 6970 N. Glenwood (Rogers Park by Morse el stop on Red Line). The musical revue pays homage to Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein and features more than 30 songs from many musical theatre's classics of the 20th century, such as Carousel, The King and I, Oklahoma, South Pacific, The Sound of Music and more. Previews are Friday and Saturday, March 11-12 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 13 at 7 p.m. Opening night is Monday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. Regular run is March 17-April 30 on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 7 p.m. Dinner is optional with appetizer and entrée served, starting 90 minutes prior to curtain and the last dinner order taken 30 minutes prior to curtain. Dessert is served at intermission. Ticket prices are $15 for previews, and during the regular run, $25 for Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays and $30 for Saturdays. Free parking is available at the northeast corner of Morse and Ravenswood, and free rides to and from theatre in the Lifeline shuttle van start 90 minutes prior to curtain.
