Mity Nice at Water Tower Place, 835 N. Michigan Ave., releases new items on its main menu and cocktail menu and launches a new "Big Kid's Menu" just for children! Plus, all wine is $5 by the glass every Monday.

Mity Nice Executive Chef Larry Donahue crafts fresh new dishes and drinks-it's mom's home cookin' with a modern Mity twist.

New menu items that will make it to your "must try" list include: Two-Bite St. Louis Ribs appetizer with honey-mustard barbecue glaze; Big Fat Greek Salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, garbanzo beans, kalamata olives, pepperoncini, feta cheese, whole wheat pita and red wine vinaigrette; Buttery Kobe Beef Burger with caramelized onions on a brioche bun; Barbecue-Glazed Turkey Meatloaf with real mashed potatoes and sweet corn; and sides Whipped Sweet Potatoes and Crispy Brisket & Barbecue Beans.

New summer sips include a selection of refreshing and unique cocktails: Spiked Blueberry Red Lemonade with blueberry red tea, organic lavender vodka and lemonade; Apple Ginger Martini with fresh apple juice, organic vodka and cinnamon sugar rim; The Accomplice with muddled strawberries, small batch gin, fresh basil, prosecco and sugar rim; and a new Mity Bloody Mary with BBQ spiced rim, pepper bacon and Tillamook cheddar cheese.

The new "Mity Nice Big Kid's Menu" is for children 12 years old and under who have the developed palate of adults but the stomach of youngsters, featuring some of the same dishes as the main menu, but in child-size portions. Big Kid plates include: Homemade Cashew Butter & Jelly Sandwich with crusts cut away; Silver Service Hot Dog with all the fixings, Thanksgiving Dinner with oven-roasted turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce; Cedar-Planked Maple-Glazed Salmon with fresh market vegetable and much more! Desserts options are a Cup of Dirt & Worms, Ice Cream Sundae with hot fudge or butterscotch; and Homemade Cupcake. The menu also features games for the kiddies to play-like puzzles, Sudoku and tricky questions to "Stump Your Parents"-while waiting for their scrumptious meal.

$5 wines by the glass will win over wine enthusiasts! On Mondays, every wine label in the restaurant is $5 by the glass, all day long-a sure way to beat the Monday blues.
