Highland Park Players present Goodnight Moon, a musical for young audiences, at Edgewood Middle School Auditorium, 929 Edgewood Road in Highland Park on Saturdays and Sundays, February 14, 15, 21, and 22, at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Based on the beloved children's classic book, Goodnight Moon, this musical transforms the simple story of a young bunny preparing for sleep into a 3-D wonderland, full of catchy songs, delightful choreography, a colorful set and clever costumes. The rhyming ritual and the great green room come alive as the bunny dances and sings his way to sweet dreams, along with dancing bears with chairs, the Cat and the Fiddle, the Cow Jumping Over the Moon and even a trip through the night sky with dancing.

Director Debbie Goldman said, "Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas to the show as a big pajama party. Goodnight Moon is my favorite children's book. With songs and dance, our very talented cast magically brings the great green room to life."

The cast includes: Tyler Callahan (Barrington), Toni Mansfield (Evanston), Meredith Colby Procell (Deerfield) Bob Spidale (Addison), Jacob Cohen (Northbrook), Kelsey Stephens (Chicago), Jenna Makkawy (Chicago), Caryl Davidson (Skokie), Scott Schwartz (Highland Park) and Derrick Procell (Deerfield). With a directing team comprised of Debbie Goldman- Director (Highland Park), Marty Karlin- Music Director (Buffalo Grove), Marissa Hockfield- Choreographer (Chicago), Janice Gemp- Props/Costumer (Highland Park), Chris Morgan- Stage Manager (Northbrook), Jane Hiett- Set Designer (Lake Forest) and Richard Neumann- Sound Designer (Skokie).
