Big Noise Theatre Company, a division of Winnetka Theatre, announces their final show of the 2016 season, Seussical, the Musical. Brought to you by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty ("Ragtime," "Once on This Island"), guests are sure to enjoy a performance that celebrates family and love, and shows us that "anything's possible!"

All audiences, whether young or simply young-at-heart, will love this warm and wild adaptation of Dr. Seuss' most beloved characters and stories, including favorite numbers such as "Horton Hears a Who!", "Horton Hatches the Egg," and "Miss Gertrude McFuzz." Hosted by the irreverent Cat in the Hat, viewers follow Horton, the elephant, the Grinch who stole Christmas, Gertrude McFuzz and many more favorites as they trek through the Jungle of Nool and on the Planet of Who.

Seussical, The Musical will perform at Prairie Lakes Theater in Des Plaines from September 23 to October 16, 2016. The performances will take place on the following dates and times: Fri, Sept. 23, 30 & Oct 7, 14 at 8 p.m. / Sat, Sept. 24 & Oct 1 at 8 p.m / Sat, Oct. 8, 15 at 3 p.m. & 8 p.m. / Sun, Sept. 25 & Oct 2, 9, 16 at 3 p.m. Come to a special opening reception on Fri Sept 23rd.

Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors/students, $16 for children 12 & under and can be purchased on our website 24/7 at www.bignoisetheatre.org. Performing in featured roles are: Anthony Mele (Arlington Heights) as The Cat in the Hat, Zach Tabor (Chicago) as Horton, the Elephant, Ben Miller (Libertyville) as JoJo, Julia Macholl (Morton Grove) as Gertrude McFuzz, Lucy Scherschligt (Chicago) as Mayzie LaBird, Brad Kisner (Chicago) as Mr. Mayor, Jen Houghton (Evanston) as Mrs. Mayor, Rachel Elise Johnson (Chicago) as The Sour Kangaroo, and Tyler Sonkin (Chicago) as General Genghis Khan Schmitz.

They are joined by ensemble members: Hayden Anderson, Tyler Callahan, Angela Carrington, Ashley Foreman, Missy Greenberg, Jose, Guerrero, Heidi Hansfield, Sidra Henderson, Kayden Koshelev, Rachel Livingston, Ricky Marchant, Sarah Jean Mergener, Annabelle Murphy, Amanda Newman, Scott Spector, and Brent Walker.

The show is directed by Kevin Wiczer (Chicago), with choreography by Annie Snow (Chicago), and music direction by Jeff Poindexter (Palatine). Producers are Gail Soberski (Wilmette) and Brad Kisner (Chicago).
