American Theater Company announces the restored and revised 45th Anniversary production of Hair, with music by Galt MacDermot, lyrics and book by James Rado and Gerome Ragni, and directed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli. Hair will run April 26 - June 30, 2013, at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St, Chicago, IL. Press opening is Monday, May 6, at 7:00 pm.

Greenwich Village. 1968. During the most tumultuous year in our nation's history, a group of young hippies explore sex, love, and rock 'n' roll while fighting for civil rights and the end of the war in Vietnam. Artistic Director PJ Paparelli and author James Rado return to the original 1967 off-Broadway script to revise and restore material never-before-seen in the controversial rock musical that forever changed the American theatre.

The Press Performance is set for Monday, May 6, at 7:00 pm. Schedule: Wednesdays,Thursdays & Fridays: 8:00pm; Saturdays: 2:00pm & 8:00pm; and Sundays: 2:00pm. All performances play the American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St., Chicago.
