CPCC Summer Theatre, Charlotte's only professional summer stock theatre, will bring the Tony Award winning musical "Damn Yankees" to the Halton Theater stage next month.

In this Broadway classic, Faust meets professional baseball as middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd trades his soul to the devil for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. Audiences will enjoy seeing Mr. Applegate (the Devil) portrayed by fan favorite Dennis Delamar, who is no stranger to CPCC Summer Theatre's productions.

Light, fast-paced and devilishly clever, "Damn Yankees" is a home-run hit featuring all-American subject matter and an irreverent sense of humor that is sure to please all members of the family.
