The Reading Theater Project presents its upcoming LGBTQIA Fringe Fest November 4-6th, 2016 at the Yocum Institute for the Arts, 1100 Belmont Avenue Wyomissing PA.

The Reading Theater Project's mission is to create new theater inspired by Reading and greater Berks County. In this spirit Reading Theater Project is producing a ten minute fringe festival of performance art on topics within the LGBTQIA community. New works will include ten minute plays, monologues, dance, improv, music, and interactive theatre. The series will feature a multi-generational line-up of local performing artists from Berks including; Sydney Abramowicz, Christine Cieplinksi, Joel Richard Gori, Vicki Haller Graff, Chris Heslop, Amie Vanité Kincaide, Sue Lange, Joel Lesher, Santo Marabello, Metamorphosis Performing Company, David Nice, Lily Ogelsby, Yocum Institute's Teen Ensemble, and Amy Young.

In addition, the festival will have open discussions between audiences and artists, led by Metamorphosis' moderator, after each performance. The goal is to create a forum where differing opinions can be shared and discussed by the Berks community on topics of gender and sexual orientation and the issues facing the LGBTQIA community.

Tickets are $15 general admission. For show information on Reading Theater Project's LGBTQIA Fringe Fest, or to donate, go to ReadingTheaterProject.com or call 484-706-9719.
