The Trust Performing Arts Center presents New York Polyphony

Making their second appearance at The Trust, welcome Christmas with an unforgettable evening with Grammy-nominated, New York Polyphony. Praised for a "rich, natural sound that's larger and more complex than the sum of its parts," (National Public Radio). New York Polyphony is regarded as one of the finest vocal chamber ensembles in the world. The four men "sing with intelligence, subtlety and consummate artistry,"(Richmond Times-Dispatch) applying a distinctly modern touch to repertoire that ranges from austere medieval melodies to cutting-edge contemporary compositions. Their dedication to innovative programming, as well as a focus on rare and rediscovered works, has not only earned New York Polyphony critical acclaim and a devoted following, but also helped to move early music into the classical mainstream.

Pennsylvania native composer-arranger-saxophonist Jonathan Ragonese, earned a Masters in composition at the Manhattan School of Music. He'll be playing holiday favorites including Little Drummer Boy, We Three Kings and I'll Be Home for Christmas. Steve Rudolph, piano, Peter Paulsen, bass and Larry Marshall, drums. Intimate table seating and beverage service included. Small plate choices from Aussie and The Fox are available to order in advance for an additional charge.

This one-man show, acted out by Jeremy Kendall, is based on the iconic 1946 holiday favorite film It's a Wonderful Life.
