Millbrook launches into their 2016 Season with a original adaptations of the classic children's tale.

The Board of Directors and Artistic Director, David Leidholdt, are pleased to announce Millbrook's World Premiere Adaptation of Robin Hood by Shannon Agnew on the Ryan Main Stage.

Wielding a bow and arrow, Robin and the merry band join forces to stand up for what's right. This fresh take on the fabled story features trickery, disguises, sword fights, and plenty of help from the audience. This unique adaptation tells the tale of a merry band of actors gathered in an English square to share their annual performance of Robin Hood. Waiting for them at the square, is Robin Hood, there to set the story straight and tell the tale firsthand. Thomas, Henry and Katherine (the merry band of actors) join together with Robin Hood to tell the story of how Robin became an outlaw, formed the band of merry friends, and eventually saved all of England from the evil rule of the unjust King John and Sheriff of Nottingham. Our physical, interactive show will have audience members join the cast to share in the fun.

Cast includes: Danielle White as Robin Hood, Matt Spencer as Henry/ Sheriff of Nottingham/Friar Tuck and Prince John, Stuart Harsch as Thoma/ Little John/King Richard, and Aubrey Potash as Katherine/Will. Written and Directed by Shannon Agnew, Stage Manager/Set Design: Samantha Witkowski and Lighting Design by Ethan Vail

Robin Hood Saturday May 14 at 10:00am. Tickets are $5.00 at the Door Only. No advanced sales. Available to book for Groups or Events.
