Ruby Powers, NYC's most joyous drag queen, returns to Bar Thalia at Symphony Space for a Valentine's Day Evening cabaret of pop songs, standards, and comedy tonight, February 14th, from 9:00pm until midnight.

"Life is a banquet...and I'm hungry!" Ruby Powers is the modern-day Auntie Mame drag persona of Brent Lomas. Together with music director Bradford Proctor, Ruby promises an evening of camaraderie and cheer, aimed to "set your ruby powers free!"

Joining Ruby Powers, MY FUNNY VALENTINE will feature the talents of Jessie Atkinson, Danny Baird, Brady Cudmore, Brian Dann (NYC GAY MEN'S CHORUS),Victoria Huston-Elem (ADDAMS FAMILY tour), Michael Kushner, Amy Lang (CUFF ME), Elyssa Mactas, Annie Nelson, Frank Sierra, Joseph Spitale, and Natalie Storrs (SISTER ACT tour).

The evening promises an eclectic mix of music (from Kander and Ebb to the Spice Girls), stand-up comedy, and party games.

Ruby Powers has made Bar Thalia her holiday home, also performing HALLOWEEN SPOOK-TACULAR, and NEW YEAR'S EVE COUNTDOWN. Her earliest appearances were as an event and nightlife photographer under Brent Lomas Photography (www.brentlomasphotography.com).
