The Laurie Beechman Theatre is pleased to announce The Fourth Annual "Brandon and Ray's Birthday Bash" Saturday, October 20 at 11PM.  With special guests Liz McCartney (Taboo), Marcus Paul James (Rent), Telly Leung (Rent) and Kenny Holcomb.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within The West Bank Café is pleased to they celebrate Brandon Cutrell and Ray Fellman's birthdays in this annual, one night only blowout.  There is a $15 cover and a $15 food and/or beverage minimum for this performance.  For reservations, please call 212.695.6909 between the hours of 12-8PM.

McCartney, James, Leung and Holcomb will be on hand to celebrate, raise a glass of champagne and perform a few numbers as only they can.  Brandon and Ray will debut a few songs as well as perform a few songs from Brandon's self-titled CD.  They will also take requests from the audience.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located downstairs, within the West Bank Café, 407 West 42nd St. at 9th Avenue. There is a full bar and bar menu available, and reservations are necessary are strongly recommended for this event. 

Brandon Cutrell is a Bistro Award and two-time MAC Award winner. New York credits: Broadway By The Year at Town Hall, The 2nd Annual Broadway Unplugged at Town Hall, Pippin (with Ben Vereen and Rosie O'Donnell), La Gioconda at TheatreSource, David Friedman's King Island Christmas, and Liz Swados' Waiting For Lefty. National: Theatre of the Stars, Goodspeed Musicals, the Human Race Theatre and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. For nearly two years, Brandon was the original host of the MAC Award nominated show, Mostly Sondheim. In December of 2005, Brandon made his debut in the world-famous Oak Room at The Algonquin Hotel. In June of 2006, Brandon made his solo debut at Feinstein's, New York's legendary nightclub on Park Avenue. Currently, Brandon can be seen every Friday night at The Laurie Beechman Theatre on 42nd Street as the host of The After Party, a weekly open-mic, musical theatre soiree. During the summer Brandon is the host of Brandon and Ray's Broadway At The Beach in Cherry Grove on Fire Island. Brandon's self-titled debut cd was released in June at Feinstein's and is now available on iTunes and at www.BrandonCutrell.com.  

Ray Fellman recently made his Off-Broadway debut when he was handpicked by Stephen Schwartz to musical direct his off-Broadway musical, Captain Louie. Other Musical Director credits include The Tutor by Wood/Gerle (59 E. 59th), Reluctant Pilgrim (The Barrow Group), Blood Drive: A Musical Triptych by Sheinkin/Derfner (workshop at the O'Neill Theater Center) and Amahl and the Night Visitors (national tour directed by David Aiken). Ray has been seen behind the piano in The Storefront Theatre's New Mondays (with Bill Russell and Emily Skinner), No Reservations (starring Brandon Cutrell with special guests Karen Mason and Shoshana Bean), Broadway Downtown (with Kristy Cates) and We Miss Nancy: The Storefront Sings Lamott (with Liz McCartney). He has also served as accompanist for Utah Festival Opera Company, The Opera Company of Brooklyn , Mid America Productions at Carnegie Hall (with John Rutter) and A Yuletide Celebration with the Indianapolis Symphony starring Judy Kaye. As a singer, Ray has sung with some of the finest opera companies in the country, including Florida Grand, Glimmerglass and New Orleans operas. Ray holds degrees in piano and voice from the Indiana University School of Music.  Ray was appointed to Indiana University in 2007 as Assistant Professor of Vocal Instruction for Musical Theatre in the Department of Theatre and Drama. 

Liz McCartney most recently appeared off-Broadway in Bingo and on Broadway in Mamma Mia!. Other Broadway credits include Boy George's Taboo (originating the role of "Big Sue"), Dance of the Vampires, Phantom of the Opera (Carlotta), Thoroughly Modern Millie and Les Miserables. Liz also appeared in the critically-acclaimed ENCORES! production of Carnival. Regional credits include Paint Your Wagon (Goodspeed Opera House), The Hired Man (Walnut Street Theatre), Into the Woods (playing the Witch for both the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts and Sacramento Music Circus) and The Rocky Horror Show on tour with Meatloaf. 

Marcus Paul James currently can be seen on Broadway in Rent.  A native New Yorker who studied musical theatre at Penn State, Marcus' national tour credits include Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar and West Side Story.  His debut album is expected within the year! 

Telly Leung currently appears on Broadway in the role of Steve in Rent.  His other Broadway, National and Regional credits include Flower Drum Song, Pacific Overtures, Wicked, Sweeney Todd and Godspell

Kenny Holcomb burst onto New York's nightlife scene when he became a six time winner of CATTLE CALL, a singing competition at midtown hot-spot, Therapy.  He soon opened his debut cabaret act, On My Way To You, at The Duplex.  His next show, The Good Songs, opens at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in January of 2008.  In Cherry Grove on Fire Island, Kenny often is featured in Ariel Sinclair's Pool Show and Brandon and Ray's Broadway at the Beach.
