In honor of Barbara Walters final week on THE VIEW, Broadway veteran Martin Short stopped by to sing a special song to explain how he feels about "a chick named Babs." Below, check out Short's own version of 'The Way We Were' in which he takes a look back at some of his most memorable appearances on the ABC talk show!

Martin Short's theater credits include The Goodbye Girl, Little Me and Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me. The Emmy Award winners is also known for his TV work including "How I Met Your Mother," Short's stage credits include The Goodbye Girl,Little Me andMartin Short: Fame Becomes Me.

The Emmy winner's TV work includes "SCTV," "How I Met Your Mother," "Saturday Night Live" and the animated series "The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley."
