Warner Bros. Pictures' CLOUD ATLAS to be Released in Select IMAX Theatres in North America on October 26
IMAX and Warner Bros. Pictures today announced that the epic drama Cloud Atlas, will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX® format and released in select North American IMAX® theatres on Oct. 26, 2012. Based on the best-selling novel by David Mitchell, "Cloud Atlas" is written for the screen and directed by acclaimed filmmakers Lana Wachowski, Tom Tykwer and Andy Wachowski. It features a stellar ensemble cast led by Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D'Arcy, Xun Zhou, Keith David, Susan Sarandon and Hugh Grant, all appearing in multiple roles.

The IMAX release of Cloud Atlas will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.
