WIGS series Vanessa & Jan, which brings back two characters from WIGS' first series and fan favorite Jan, premieres on Hulu and Hulu+ yesterday, Monday, November 4. The six-episode series (which originally premiered on YouTube) and stars Caitlin Gerard (The Social Network), Laura Spencer (The Lizzy Bennet Diaries), Walton Goggins (Justified) and James Wolk (The Crazy Ones, Mad Men), is now available in one 40-minute episode on the platform at www.hulu.com/vanessa-and-jan

Jan (Gerard) accompanies her nervous friend Vanessa (Spencer) to a SPEED dating session and ends up unintentionally stealing the attention of the men in attendance. Written and directed by WIGS co-Creator Jon Avnet (Black Swan, Fried Green Tomatoes) and also starring Kevin Christy (Masters of Sex) and Langston Fishburne, this series is a fun, quirky and fascinating look into the difficulties of single life.

WIGS is breaking new ground with award-winning scripted dramas for the digital age with more than 60 million views to date. The channel offers high-end original series, short films and documentaries, all starring female leads. Popular series on the WIGS channel include LAUREN, which explores the consequences of dealing with sexual assault in the military, starring Troian Bellisario and Jennifer Beals; SERENA, a story of lust, temptation and Forbidden love, starring Jennifer Garner and Alfred Molina; and JAN, about a young woman whose first job goes awry, starring Virginia Madsen, Stephen Moyer and Caitlin Gerard.

In February of 2013, FOX Broadcasting Company (FOX) entered into a multi-year pact with WIGS. The programming, marketing and distribution partnership is designed to expand the breadth of offerings through the WIGS channel, and test and nurture dramatic concepts and talent in the digital realm.
