Virginia Madsen Set for NBC's Drama Pilot BABYLON FIELDS

According to Deadline, Virginia Madsen has just signed on to join Meagan Good and Kyle Schmid in NBC's upcomign drama pilot BABYLON FIELDS.

The project "is about a town's residents coming back from the dead. Madsen will play Rhonda Wunch, CDC scientist Thomas Wunch's (Schmid) mother who is close to her son and wants him to stay home in Babylon. Rounding out the pilot's regular cast are Ritchie Costeras Ernie Wunch, Thomas' father and Rhonda's husband, a former cop who most people thought ran away to Daytona; and Yul Vazquez as Chief of Police Matt Conte."

BABYLONE fields was originally "developed and piloted" at CBS in 2007.

Madsen most recently has appeared on Lifetime's WITCHES OF EAST END, and on AMC's HELL ON WHEELS as a recurring character. She has also starred in SIDEWAYS and THE NUMBER 23.
