Bravo Media's INSIDE THE ACTOR'S STUDIO, hosted by James Lipton, kicked off its 19th season with television and film comedy star Tina Fey last night. Before the actress even began to discuss her career in film and television, the host had a special request. "Would you allow me to interview Sarah Palin, please?", asked Lipton, referring to her dead-on impression of the Vice Presidential candidate. "We can try," Fey agreed. Check out what followed below!

As an actress, comedian, writer and producer, Fey is best known for her work on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. Her films include Mean Girls, Baby Mama and the upcoming Admission. Fey's talents have been recognized with seven Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, four Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four Writers Guild of America Award. She has appeared twice on Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people and was the youngest-ever winner of the award Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

The special hour featured Fey as she sat down with host James Lipton to discuss her comedy roots in Chicago, being the first female head writer for Saturday Night Live, hosting The Golden Globes with Amy Poehler, and her role in national politics as a Sarah Palin impersonator.
