VIDEO: Matthew McConaughey Talks ‘Epic’ Film FREE STATE OF JONES

Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey’s new movie tells the story of Newton Knight defending his freedom in the South during the Civil War. McConaughey stopped by this morning's TODAY to share thathe had never heard about the character he plays, but that the year of filming was his history lesson.
