Shia LaBeouf has been in the news quite a bit over the past year, but not necessarily for the type of press that Hollywood celebs are looking for.

A bizarre video has emerged of the 'Transformers' star trying his hand at rap music. Referring to himself as the "best in the West", the 29-year-old offers the crowd: "Yessir, this Jewish kid still spew this sick s**t though, watch me I got a sick flow." And later, in a reference to the historical figure Harriet Tubman, "I'm so underground the rap kids call me Tubman."

Last week, LaBeouf's rep confirmed to ET that the actor had suffered a head injury on set of his new film, American Honey. "Shia LaBeouf sustained minimal injuries late last night on the set of his current film, American Honey," his rep told the site. "As protocol, production sought out medical attention and Shia received stitches on his hand and for a laceration on his head. He is due back on set tomorrow."

Just about one year ago, the actor was escorted out of a performance of Broadway's 'Cabaret' by New York City police after exhibiting what was described as odd and disruptive behavior.
