VIDEO: First Look - Showtime's MASTER OF SEX and RAY DONOVAN
Today, SHOWTIME released the first look at its two new dramas RAY DONOVAN, starring Emmy® and Golden Globe® Award nominee Liev Schreiber and Oscar® winner Jon Voight, and MASTERS OF SEX, starring Emmy and BAFTA Award nominee Michael Sheen and acclaimed actress Lizzy Caplan. RAY DONOVAN and MASTERS OF SEX mark Liev Schreiber and Michael Sheen's first lead television roles. As the newest additions to the network's critically-acclaimed and award-winning slate of original series, both dramas will premiere in 2013. Check it out below!
SHOWTIME will premiere the first looks this Sunday, December 9, on-air during the penultimate episodes of the network's top two-rated series DEXTER® and HOMELAND, as well as during the highly-anticipated season finales of both series on Sunday, December 16.
Set in the sprawling mecca of the rich and famous, RAY DONOVAN does the dirty work for LA's top power players. The one-hour drama series stars Liev Schreiber as the go-to guy who makes the problems of the city's celebrities, superstar athletes, and business moguls disappear. This powerful family drama unfolds when his father, played by Jon Voight, is unexpectedly released from prison, setting off a chain of events that shakes the Donovan family to its core. The series' all-star cast also includes Oscar winner and guest star Elliott Gould as Ray's long-time client and mentor, Paula Malcomson (The Hunger Games) in the role of Ray's wife, Abby, along with Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes) and Dash Mihok (I Am Legend), who will play Ray's brothers. The cast also includes Katherine Moennig (The L Word), Pooch Hall (The Game), Steven Bauer (Breaking Bad), Kerris Dorsey (Moneyball) and Devon Bagby. Johnathon Schaech (That Thing You Do!) and Peter Jacobson (House) guest star. RAY DONOVAN is created and executive produced by Ann Biderman (Southland). The series will also be executive produced by Mark Gordon and Bryan Zuriff. RAY DONOVAN is a SHOWTIME production and the pilot was directed by Allen Coulter (The Sopranos,Sons of Anarchy), who also serves as producer.
