Modern comedic icon Amy Poehler took to Youtube this week to reach out to her fellow Bostonians following this week's harrowing series of events. Check out her heartfelt message, titled "I Love You Boston," the 20th episode in her ongoing ASK AMY web series, below.

Poehler was born in Newton, Mass., and attended Boston College.

On Thursday night, police shot and killed 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev one of two suspects allegedly involved in last Monday's Boston Marathon bombing. His brother, 19-year-old Dzhokar Tsarnaev, was captured last night after a 20-hour manhunt in Watertown, Mass. The bombings resulted in three deaths and over 170 injured people. Much of Boston was on lockdown as police searched the city for the suspect.
