IDOL alum Adam Lambert talked about his upcoming guest starring role on Glee and how IDOL helped prepare him for his future in entertainment. In this behind the scenes video which features clips from the November 7th episode, Glee stars Chris Colfer and Demi Lovato also share their thoughts on their talented co-star.

Said Lambert of his character Elliott 'Starchild' Gilbert , "I think that he's actually quite normal and kind of down to earth. He goes to NYU. I think he's kind of a theatre geek and when he's first introduced with his first song, which is 'Marry the Night' by Lady Gaga, I think he's trying way too hard. He's doing everything he can to make a good impression."

In the video, Glee, co-star Chris Colfer calls Lambert "crazy talented". "What kind of lab experiment results in that voice?" quipped Colfer. "It's crazy. He was incredible on Idol and he's still incredible."
Lambert also reveals that he had auditioned for Glee before appearing on American Idol and speaks about Elliott's relationship with Colfer's character Kurt. "All I know is that [creator] Ryan [Murphy] said something about 'nemesis'," he teased. "I don't know what's going to happen but I'm excited to find out."

Lambert will make his Glee debut in the 'A Katy or a Gaga' episode, which premieres this Thursday (November 7) on Fox.
