Last week, creators and stars of the hit TV series Veronica Mars proved that fan loyalty could bring the dream of a feature length film adaptation of the show to fruition. Inspired by the Kickstarter results, filmmakers of an ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT documentary have turned to fans to ask for support in their creative endeavor. Check out the trailer for the project below!

According to Deadline, filmmakers Jeff Smith and Neil Lieberman spent five years interviewing the creative team and cast members of the Cult classic including Mitch Hurwitz, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor, PORTIA DE ROSSI, Scott Baio, Henry Winkler, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale, and Jay Chandrasekhar.

'Arrested' mega-fan Keith Olbermann is among the enthusiasts across the country who spoke to cameras about the now defunct TV series and the upcoming Netflix reincarnation. With only 27 days left on the countdown clock, the film's creators are asking fans to donate $20,000 to pay FOX for the use of photos in their documentary. Donation rewards include everything from digital downloads and DVDs/Blu-rays to a private screening of the film.

The series returns to Netflix with 14 new episodes this May.
