Under the Wire Productions Announces Release of Sci-fi Short Film THE COURIER

Under The Wire Productions, in association with Pod Intermedia, are proud to announce the release of The Courier, a sci fi short film starring Reno Wilson and Catharine Pilafas and directed by Courtney Jones. The Courier is now available on-line at thecouriermovie.net.

The Courier is the story of an unwitting courier who is drawn into a volatile situation when a young scientist enlists him to help expose the truth about a deadly disease wiping our humanity.

Reno Wilson, co-star of the CBS hit show Mike & Molly and the voice of Brains in the Transformers movie franchise, stars in this short film, which blends intrigue, action, comedy, and near future science fiction elements into a fast-paced thrill ride that serves as a perfect set-up to a much broader, more complex story and hints at the origins of a potential super hero.

Pod Intermedia is operated by esteemed director Courtney Jones, a former resident of Santa Fe, NM who now makes his home in Seattle, WA. Courtney has an extensive track record in Hollywood and has directed and produced feature films with stars including Henry Winkler and Ted Danson. Under the Wire Productions, headed by Matt Berlin and Christina Berlin, has its roots in Albuquerque and currently operates in the San Francisco Bay Area.
