Tony Hale to Star in ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNK Sequel

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT star Tony Hale has signed on to play THE VILLAIN in the upcoming comedy ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: THE ROAD CHIP. The film will be the fourth installment of the animated ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS franchise.

The first three films have had remarkable success, grossing over 1 billion across the globe. The movies have also sparked popular soundtracks featuring TRACKS sung by the Chipmunks, and sparked a music-themed video game for children.

Tony Hale currently stars on the HBO comedy VEEP, portraying aid to the Vice President Gary Walsh. He won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy for the role in 2013. He has made guest appearances in numerous television shows, including RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, SAMANTHA WHO, and PSYCH.

ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: THE ROAD CHIP will feature Jason Lee, Justin Long, Jesse McCartney and Matthew Gray Guber. It is set to be released on December 23rd, 2015.
