Telemundo Deportes to Present Premier League Matches Coverage This Weekend

Telemundo Deportes presents a full weekend of PREMIER LEAGUE SOCCER on Telemundo and NBC UNIVERSO, including the widely expected Manchester United vs. Manchester City duel which will mark the first Premier League meeting between Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola this Saturday, Sept 10 from 7 AM ET/9 CT and 4 PT on Telemundo. Saturday, Sept 10:

Manchester United vs. Manchester City on Telemundo: coverage starts with pregame "La Liga Premier Extra" at 7 AM ET/6 CT/4 PT. Telemundo Deportes' Miguel Gurwitz will host the pregame, along with internationally acclaimed sportscaster Andres Cantor and soccer expert Sammy Sadovnik. This will be the 171stmeeting between the two Manchester teams and the first Premier League duel between coaches Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola. After losing four Premier League Manchester derbies in a row, Manchester United are unbeaten in their last three against Manchester City. Citizen's coach Pep Guardiola has lost only three of his last 16 meetings against Jose Mourinho. No player has scored more goals in this fixture than Wayne Rooney's 11 in all competitions. The match has been branded by the British press as the most expensive game in history with United and City worth an estimated combined total of nearly US$ 800 million, and boasting new recruits such as Pogba and Ibrahimovic for United; and Stones, Sané and the Chilean, Claudio Bravo, for City.

Arsenal vs. Southampton on NBC UNIVERSO: coverage starts at 9:30 AM ET/8:30 CT/6:30 PT: Arsenal hasn't lost in 21 consecutive home league matches against Southampton, last losing back in November 1987. Claude Puel will be the fourth French manager to face Arsene Wenger in the Premier League, with Gerard Houllier the only manager to beat him (Jean Tigana and Remi Garde were the other two). Southampton has kept three consecutive clean sheets against Arsenal, its best ever run against them in all competitions.

Liverpool vs. Leicester City on NBC UNIVERSO: coverage starts at 12 PM/11 AM CT/9 AM PT: Liverpool was one of only two teams to beat Leicester City in the Premier League last season, winning 1-0 in this fixture in December. Liverpool has won more matches against reigning Premier League champions than any other side. A current Premier League champion has not won a league match at Anfield since Manchester United triumphed 1-0 in December 2007. Jamie Vardy has found the net six times in his last seven Premier League matches. He scored both of Leicester's goals in their 2-0 win over Liverpool in February.

Sunday, Sept 11:

Swansea City vs. Chelsea on Telemundo at 10:55AM/9:55 CT/7:55 PT: Swansea's 1-0 win in this fixture last season was their first league victory and clean sheet in 12 matches against the Blues, since a 3-0 win in April 1981. Chelsea has scored more goals against Swansea than any other Premier League side has managed. Diego Costa has scored more Premier League goals against Swansea than any other opponent he has faced. Antonio Conte could win his four opening Premier League matches - something that only three previous Chelsea managers have done (Jose Mourinho, Guus Hiddink and Carlo Ancelotti).
