What does it take to be Amy Schumer's on-set assistant? How many phone calls does the editor in chief of Cosmopolitan get a day? What is the actual weight limit for checked bags at the airport? THE TODAY SHOW anchors and hosts are adding new meaning to on-the-job training by stepping out of Studio 1A and BECOMING "interns" at some of the country's most interesting professions.

"Up for the Job TODAY" begins next week, and the TODAY anchors will each try their hand at a new job. Matt Lauer will work for air traffic control at John F. KENNEDY Airport; Savannah Guthrie will assist Amy Schumer on the set of her new movie; Al Roker will spend a day at the San Diego Zoo; Natalie Morales will intern for Cosmopolitan Editor in Chief, Joanna Coles; Carson Daly will serve as a ramp agent for Delta Air Lines; Willie Geist will intern at Saturday Night Live; Tamron Hall will assist director Ava DuVernay on set in New Orleans; Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb will become dog groomers for a day. Additionally on Weekend TODAY, Erica Hill will work for J. Crew and Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones will intern for Rascal Flatts in Las Vegas.
