Deadline reports that THOR's Jaimie Alexander has boarded NBC's drama pilot BLINDSPOT as its female lead.

From Greg Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros Television, written by Martin Gero, and directed by Mark Pellington, the pilot unfurls from the scene of "a beautiful woman, with no memories of her past, who is found naked in Times Square with her body fully covered in intricate tattoos. Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately ignites the attention of the FBI who begin to follow the road map on her body to reveal a larger conspiracy of crime while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity."

Known for her role as 'Sif' in THOR and THOR: THE DARK WORLD, Alexander has also appeared on the big screen in THE LAST STAND, COLLISION and SAVANNAH and will soon be seen in HBO's THE BRINK, as well as the films LONDON FIELDS and BROKEN VOWS. She has also appeared on TV in Marvel's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., COVERT AFFAIRS, NURSE JACKIE and more.
