THE NFL ON CBS Doubleheader Coverage Earns +66% Ratings Increase

THE NFL ON CBS's Week 17 doubleheader coverage on Sunday, Jan. 3 earned ratings increases of +66% for its Regional game window and +19% for its National game window.

The Regional window, which earned an average household rating/share of 11.1/19, +66% from last year's 6.7/12, was the highest-rated CBS Regional game in the metered markets in Week 17 of the NFL regular-season since the NFL went to both CBS and FOX having doubleheaders on the final week of the season in 2006.

The National window earned an average HH rating/share of 12.8/25, +19% from last year's 10.8/22.

Games featured in the National window (1:00 PM, ET) were N.Y. Jets-Buffalo, Pittsburgh-Cleveland, Jacksonville-Houston, New England-Miami and Tennessee-Indianapolis. Games in the Regional window (4:25 PM, ET) included San Diego-Denver and St. Louis-San Francisco.
