Executive Producers Quan Phung, John Carrozza, Velvet Candy Entertainment, LLC, Wait What Productions in Association with Cricket Feet today announced the release of the feature film, THE MIKADO PROJECT, on DVD. The title is available now exclusively on Amazon.

THE MIKADO PROJECT, starring Tamlyn Tomita (GLEE), Rizwan Manji (Outsourced), Gerald McCullouch (CSI, Bear City), David Lee McInnis (Never Forever,), Allen C. Liu (FLOWER DRUM SONG Broadway Revival), Yuri Tag (America's Best Dance Crew's KABBA MODERN), Raymond J. Lee (Broadway Cast of Anything Goes), Erin Quill (Original Broadway Cast of Avenue Q), Freda Foh Shen (Mulan), and Ryun Yu (Kissing Cousins), looks at a struggling Asian American theater company that grapples with mounting a production of Gilbert & Sullivan's "The Mikado", to get its NEA Grant and save the company.

Based on an original play by Ken Narasaki and Doris Baizley, and adapted for the screen by Chil Kong, Erin Quill and Ryun Yu, THE MIKADO PROJECT deals with the humor of working with those you love, on a project you very well may hate. Directed by Chil Kong (LOST, HBO's Too Big To Fail, Crossing Over), who based the film on his experiences as an Artistic Director of Lodestone Theater Ensemble in Los Angeles.

With behind the scenes excerpts, deleted scenes, and backstage interviews, this DVD is destined to be a collector's item for this fan favorite feature.
