THE LEGO MOVIE Producers Tease Sequel; 'Emmett Will Be Back'

Fans of the popular family-friendly comedy THE LEGO MOVIE have been anxiously waiting for news on the movie's upcoming sequel. At long last, producers/writers Phil Lord and Chris Miller have spoke abotu what fans can expect in the film's second installment in an interview with Zap2it.

"Emmett will be back -- and others, new characters as well," Miller told Zap2it. He added that the sequel will be "very different" from the original. Watch the full interview here!

Though Chris Pratt lended his voice to Emmett THE MASTER Builder in the first film, he has not been confirmed to appear in the follow-up. The actor recently told Metro News UK, "I don't know anything. I hope I'm back. I loved working with Chris and Phil and I hope Emmett is crucial to the story. But I can also see a world where they can kind of do anything and call it THE LEGO MOVIE 2, do you know what I mean?"

THE LEGO MOVIE 2 is expected to arrive in 2017.
