Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton to Host 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards

The CBS network has announced that country music stars Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire are set to host the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards. This will be the second year that the stars will be hosting the awards ceremony, which will take place on April 1st at Las Vegas' MGM Grand hotel. Winner's of last year's awards included Miranda Lamber and The Band Perry. 

The ACM Awards will also feature 'Fan Jam', an event which will be held simultaneously at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. At the event, the Zac Brown Band will be performing as well as giving away special prizes to fans. 

The ACM's tribute to superstar Lionel Richie will be prerecorded and aired as a television special entitled 'Lionel Richie and Friends - A Lifetime of Hits' on the CBS network. It will feature performances by Kenny Chesney and Lady Antebellum.
