Bestselling author and acclaimed spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant returns to OWN: OPRAH WINFREY NETWORK this May with the season premiere of the powerful self-help series "Iyanla: Fix My Life," Saturday, May 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

In the new season of "Iyanla: Fix My Life," Iyanla hits the road again to help individuals in Crisis across the country fix what is broken and holding them back in their lives and relationships. Tensions are high from the start in the season premiere as Iyanla travels to New York to work with rapper/actor and reality TV star Saigon and his on-again-off-again lover and mother to his son, Erica. Many know the couple for their tumultuous relationship displayed on the reality series "Love & Hip Hop NY." Iyanla's challenge is to help the pair understand how years of fighting, resentment and a failure to forgive is preventing them from being the best parents for their son, Steven.

In later episodes, Iyanla stages a life or death Intervention with a more than 600-pound California woman who says she hasn't left her in bed in five years; assists a man who says his whole marriage has been a joke; works with a family who says their father is so mean they are afraid to be in the same room with him; and helps a nurse whose family refuses to forgive her after she was found guilty of taking patients' pain medication.

"Iyanla: Fix My Life" returns to OWN this spring with eight, all-new, one-hour episodes. In the popular self-help series, bestselling author, spiritual life coach and television host Iyanla Vanzant goes behind closed doors to help people whose relationships and lives have broken down. Through emotional heart-to-heart conversations and often a dose of tough-love, Iyanla helps individuals confront unresolved issues from their past that have them stuck, coaching them on how to take control and break the negative patterns so they may once again find true happiness and a more fulfilled life. The series is produced by Harpo Studios and executive produced by Jill Van Lokeren and Jon Sinclair. #FixMyLife
